Today we watched a video in psychology about the bystander effect, and examined a specific case study where 38 witnesses did absolutely nothing to help Kitty Genovese, who they watched get brutally murdered. Can a witness be faulted for failing to protect another human being? Do we promote evil by doing nothing to change it? I believe that people are accountable for protecting one another to prevent great destruction and chaos.
