"If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?” Not a day goes by that I don’t think about this Albert Einstein quote. My mom will look at my notes and my desk at home and my messy folders and think of how disorganized I am. And it’s true, I have such a messy, disorganized head, but I rather have that then a head wiped clean a million times. There are so many ideas, so many things I need to write down. When Albert Einstein died, his desk was a mess. Because all his life he never let go. His head was still busy… it is sad that all that was wiped clean before he could finish.
