My sister got into college over the weekend. I'd been at a swim meet, and when she first found out I was the first person she wanted to tell. She was hiccuping and sobbing so hard into the phone that I had to hold it away from my ear. When I told her "I'm proud of you" she replied with "Thank you for being my sister." The bond between us is truly insuperable.
