Cianciolo Week 9

People tend to measure the world in terms of their height or max reach. As a kid I could never touch the lowest branch of the tree in my front yard.  I had always seen that height as some ever increasing height that I would never reach. As I got older the branch seemed to raise at the same rate as I was growing. As a teenager I have spent most of my time in my room or with my friends, so I never am in my front yard. The other day I let my dog out in the front yard and the branch was at my chest. That infinite height I saw as a kid is now shorter than I am. Growing up is terribly depressing sometimes.
