Bergeron - Post 2
A friend of mine and I went walking and stayed out until the sun went down, sitting out on the golf course of a country club neither of us could ever afford to be a part of. We enjoyed the beauty of the stars, the fog, and the cop cars that lit up the trees with their warning lights. When we were walking home, it had grown cold and the entire town had gone to sleep. We were both extremely startled when a red van zipped past us and a woman's voice rang out from inside. "DON'T GO WALKING AT NIGHT." She screamed. Since then I haven't stopped wondering why she thought we shouldn't.
