Bergeron Post 13
For a night, I was a foreigner in a house full of people who drove into the country yesterday. Their mouths form words differently than mine and the men lock themselves away in a cloud of cigar smoke while the rest drink wine like water. "Are you American?" They asked and I did not know how to respond, for we were in America. Of course I was. The adults drank enough to make me feel a little drunk, even though I had not had a drop to drink. It was loud. A chaotic music. And somewhere, in all of that noise, I found him beside me and it all made sense.

"You can't run from your problems"
"Watch me!"
"Wait, where are you going? This was supposed to be a philosophical discussion!"
But Gina was already gone, leaving Johnson in the dust.

Lex Luthor: 14
My family and I are not specifically religious, and I know many families that are not religious either yet, we all celebrate christmas, not as in the birth of Jesus, but in the holiday spirit of giving gifts and being with friends and family. This sensation is something that all people want, a sensation where you're together with family, that tingly sensation in your soul. I feel this when wrapping presents and giving them to people, the joy on people's faces when they receive a gift that means something brings a feeling indescribable.

At a Christmas party there was a Yankee swap. While I ended up with a snoopy stuffed animal, my friend won a set of two shot glasses in the shape of a woman's torso. Everyone was the same age, but it is funny to see the gap in "maturity".

When I was in elementary school and I started reading books, I thought it was the weirdest thing that characters thought in words instead of abstract... something-ness. But I wanted to be just like a fictional character, because, you know, that was awesome, so I started thinking in words too. But lately my head's been going back to thinking in that something-ness, and it's a lot harder to verbalize what I'm thinking, but there's a lot of surreal things happening in my head now, which might be better. I don't know. Thinking is weird.

A lot of my friends are upset over college applications and Ivy League schools and medical programs. It's times like these where DJ Khaled's wise words of wisdom come into play:
"Major Key: They don't want you to succeed. But we gonna. Bless up."
-DJ Khaled
In the end, most of us are going to be fine.

- Saw this thing on facebook about what scientists thought the world would be like in 2045 → one thing they believe is that there will be robots designed to be controlled by thought alone. What if the robots developed to the point that they became smart enough to reverse that science and control the minds of the scientists?
