O'Connor Week 3
Why do some things just end? They die out and then where do they go? The energy has to go somewhere.
Caplan - Week 2
Ran over a lemon with the car today. From where, I don't know.
Life gave me lemon, and I drove over it with the car.
Life gave me lemon, and I drove over it with the car.

Caplan - Week 1
Some guy came into work last Friday telling everyone about how he wants to move back to Pittsburgh. He openly talked about how he liked his life here in Westford, but needs to be back. It kind of made me think about how in a couple of years, I'll be done here. Maybe he left something behind that he couldn't bring here. I'd have to be important I guess. I'm happy with my life here, and I'd leave a lot behind that I'd want see again too.
Moving sucks, but I guess its part of life.

Week 3 Sabnis
I swear if I don't get a duck boat by the time I graduate, someone's gonna get run over again.
Week 3 Gillis
Found out my church mentor stopped dating someone because the guy had ugly hands. She's got her priorities straight.
Kotary Week Two
There should be characters who are both nerdy and funny. Characters like Spiderman and Flash are funny, but also nerds. These characters are hard to write and cast as roles, because there are very fine lines, with difficult senses of humor to understand.
Reid 3
I wonder what it feels like for teachers at the end of the year. Being a senior I somewhat dread not having the meaning friendships I have fostered in teachers but that happens for them every year.
Week 2
The loveliest face I saw this morning was Alisha's. All puffy-eyed in sweats and an oversized t-shirt. She looked extremely homeless. She's my fashion inspo.
Week 3 - Diana Cajolet
Driving on the highway today I saw a fully orange tree. But underneath that tree was a car crash. Horror and beauty blended together.
Thea 3
I think every guy should be lifted up by a girl once in their life, just to make sure they know.

"Just another brain on the campus/Just another man in the field/Just another tall pile of papers/Making it crowded in here/...Someone else's words in your mouth... "-Bastille- "Campus"

Thea 2
"This is the apocalypse," She said, watching the city crumble before her.
"Whoa." He sat down, looking down at the spreading fires. " It's like I'm waking up. I feel it in my bones." The ground rumbled again, buildings falling.
"Enough to make the systems blow," she said, sitting down beside him., pointing to the still standing speakers jutting up from the city streets. Th audio system was still broadcasting, but only one phrase, repeating over and over.
"Welcome to the new age."

Sabnis Week 2
I was called homeless by the one I trusted the most. Now I can move forward knowing that the world is out to get me. There is no love, only betrayal.

Pickersgill Week 2
I did a little dance today.
The ice was fine, the walls a nice normal gray, and I felt in the mood.
It's so weird that in a world so creative, we expect each other to stick to a specific pattern.

O'Connor Week 2
Some people are obsessed with this idea that they need to be able to define love before they can allow themselves to feel it. I disagree with that mindset entirely. In fact, I don't even think that love can be defined.

Week 2 - Diana Cajolet
"What I am about to say is something that I feel like you guys don't understand. Dance is living, breathing, loving. And you should all feel so incredibly blessed to be spending your time being a part of this amazing art form."

Lutz II Week 1
I overheard someone at lunch lecturing another student for not believing in God. It just really stunned me. What gives him the right to tell others what they should believe in? What gives this punk the authority to mock someone because they don't follow their own religion? Learn some religious tolerance dude like damn.

Kotary Week One
Having a balloon fight on the grounds of a place like a school, or an office building would make for exciting action for a character. But it wold be a really huge balloon fight, as in it takes place in a fifty story office building, and people use modified balloon launchers, like not just their hands and slingshots, but other launchers especially for this water balloon fight.
Sabnis Week 1
Some people need to learn to mind their own business. I was at a dog park in Chelmsford and this one guy was yelling across the yard at a lady to get her dog off the table even though they are allowed to be on them. He continued to talk trash even after the worker told him to stop.
O'Connor Week 1
I sit in the train compartment, looking out into the never-ending green fields. My head rests on my knees, which are hugged to my chest. It feels odd to be alone after people coddled me all throughout the holiday. Yet it is soothing and gives me a sense of relief.
Gillis Week 1
Every person's life is like a different type of sandwich. Some artificially sweet yet bland, others hardy and full of spice and zest.
Week 1
I learned a fun fact that really inspired me: James A. Garfield was ambidextrous and could write in Latin and Greek at the same time.
Week 1 Keely
I left my very first library book in the rain. It was a Raggedy Anne story book that I got from the book mobile. After that, I didn't go to the library for a year because my sister told me that I was banned for life. Eventually I discovered her ruse.
week one Thea
Words have power. I imagine a booming voice soaring over a battle field. The voice isn't even forming words I know, or maybe they are so imbibed with power that it overshadows the syllables. It reaches
Reid post 1
Silently she dwells,
an unsung hero.
Seeking no glory
she reflects the pride of another.
She asks for nothing,
but gives everything.
alone she stands guard,
a pale sentinel in the dark.
She shines brightly but often goes unnoticed
Yet weep she does not,
she only pushes and pulls her well of tears,
and watches from a distance
Week 1 E
Last night, I had a realization. An epiphany. What I'm about to say will blow your mind. Here I go. The novel Diary of a Wimpy Kid is literally a modern day Catcher in the Rye. I've been stuck on this for twelve hours. I'm literally still thinking about this. I should write a literary analysis comparing the two.
Week 1 - Diana Cajolet
"I didn't sleep last night so I'm filling up on artificial sleep."
"Yeah well the caffeine will hit you just in time to keep you up all night again."
It's interesting to me how one's efforts to fix something can lead to further damage.
